Visitor's computers which are not in CERN domain

For windows client, please follow the step below.
First please write down the name of the printer you want to install (usually stated on a label on the printer) and the printer brand.
You can connect to a printer using the following UNC path :
\\cernprinthp\<printername> for HP printers
\\cernprintcanon\<printername> for CANON printers
\\cernprintxerox\<printername> for XEROX printers
\\cernprintoce\<printername> for OCE printers
This UNC path has to be typed in a cmd box and preceed by start.
or click on start button and type the path (above) in the search box.
You will be asked to specify network credentials. If you have a NICE account please type it here in a format cern\AccountName (in example.: cern\rotto). If you do not have NICE Account please type :
- cernprinthp\print as an account name and Guest@CERN as password for HP printers.
- cernprintcanon\print as an account name and Guest@CERN as password for CANON printers.
- cernprintoce\print as an account name and Guest@CERN as password for OCE printers.
- cernprintxerox\print as an account name and Guest@CERN as password for XEROX printers.
Make sure the "Remember my password" checkbox is checked.
You will see the following warning message. Please click Yes.
