If you type the exact ID of an object in EDMS, you will obtain only that specific object in the search results:SearchResults
In this case, the search will be carried out on exactly 100100
Should the object retrieved not be exactly the result you were expecting, you can click on 'More Results'
When clicking on 'More Results', one will obtain the following, all containing 100100:Searches beginning with,..
If you enter a search criterion containing FEWER than 4 characters, the search functionality will retrieve everything containing those characters, be they at the beginning, middle or the end. Whereas a search containing FOUR or MORE characters will search for metadata beginning with those four letters. Examples
